Cynics would say that a maltipoo snatched by a hungry coyote on Monday probably wouldn’t be alive on Thursday, but Jessica Simpson isn’t giving up hope of seeing her beloved Daisy again.

“Still holding out hope despite the a–holes that say is it a dumb thing to do. Daisy is my baby … why would I stop searching? I’m a mom,” she wrote on Twitter Wednesday night.

At 8:13 p.m. Monday night, Simpson, 29, Tweeted that her dog, a maltipoo she’d owned for five years, had been taken by a coyote as she watched in Los Angeles.

“My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR!” She Tweeted. “We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”

By Wednesday, a dog-finding service, FindToto.com, had been making calls to some 1,000 of her neighbors asking if they’d spotted any sign of the missing Daisy. She also created a sign offering a reward for her dog’s return.

On Tuesday night, however, she apparently took at least a one-hour break from searching and grieving.

“Everyone watch my beautiful sister be a creepy b—h on Melrose Place tonight!!!” she wrote on Twitter at 10:10 p.m. “Tune in! xo”

Jessica Simpson’s beloved maltipoo Daisy was grabbed by a wild coyote that then vanished with the small dog, the singer wrote via Twitter Monday night.

“My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR!” she Tweeted.

Simpson, 29, has offered a reward to anyone who can reunite her with her 5-year-old, caramel-colored dog.

Jessica Simpson can’t believe her former beau has moved on so quickly after their breakup.

The ‘With You’ singer was dumped by American football star Tony Romo in July. He is now rumored to be dating 22-year-old Candice Crawford, younger sister of Chace Crawford.

A source said: “She can’t believe it. She doesn’t want Tony back, but no one wants to see that their ex has moved on with a hot, younger girl.

“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for Jessica. It’s opened up a lot of old wounds. She’s pretty insecure about herself.”

Candice bears a striking resemblance to 29-year-old Jessica and the blonde beauty is trying to keep herself busy with work to get over her upset.

A friend said: “Jessica is unlucky in love and that’s her downfall.

“She’s buried herself in work and trying not to focus on the break-up with Tony.”

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have reportedly reunited.

The two singers were together for almost a year during 2006, before Mayer finally ended the romance in 2007. He has since dated Jennifer Aniston, while Simpson recently ended her relationship with Tony Romo.

Speaking to In Touch magazine, a source said: “They’ve always had an amazing connection.”

However, the insider added: “Jessica is kidding herself that her and John stand a chance.”

The pair denied meeting in a Los Angeles restaurant last month.
