Likening Jessica Simpson to “a drug … like crack cocaine,” a loose-lipped John Mayer told Playboy of their relationship: “Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”

Now, it’s Simpson’s turn to fire away – and she’s doing it on The Oprah Winfrey Show. In an interview with Winfrey set to air Wednesday, Simpson sums up her reaction to what Mayer had to say with, one word: Disappointment.

“There’s nothing worse than being disappointed in somebody,” she says. Asked if she’s angry, she responds, “I’m not angry. I’m – well, I’m a little bit angry.”

What exactly is she angry about? “I don’t want people to know how I am in bed,” Simpson says. “I mean, I guess I could have been a lot worse.”

The pop star quips about the fallout from Mayer’s comments: “My phone is ringing off the hook, I have to say.”

On another sensitive topic – her weight – Simpson, 29, tells Winfrey she’s comfortable with her current shape. “I love my curves,” she says. “I’m not going to ever be size 0, and I don’t want to weigh 90 pounds.”

When the TV hosts points out that Simpson was thin for her 2005 movie role in The Dukes of Hazzard, Simpson responds, “I didn’t weigh 90 pounds. But I was – I was definitely smaller. But that was Daisy Duke, that’s a role. I was playing a role. I don’t want to look like Daisy Duke every day. I don’t want to wear a bathing suit every day.”

When Jessica Simpson released photos of her laughter-filled recording sessions with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan last month, buzz that the two are dating reached its highest volume yet.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE, “He got her number and starting calling her. He thought she was cute … adorable … and she got a little crush.”

Now Corgan himself has clarified the nature of their relationship – sort of. “[Simpson] asked me to help her out on the theme song for her new TV show,” he told the Chicago Tribune of the alterna-pop tune he composed for VH1’s The Price of Beauty, premiering Mar. 15.

As for the romance rumors, Corgan, 42, said, “The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I’m in. It’s like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel.”

And despite the fact that Simpson’s current Allure cover story could be interpreted as evidence of her growing feelings for Corgan – “I definitely will marry an artistic man,” says Simpson, 29. “I don’t have a physical type. I have an emotional type. When you have yourself together, I don’t care what you look like at all” – a source close to Simpson tells PEOPLE the pair are “good friends.”

Singer-actress Jessica Simpson is looking for an ‘artistic’ husband.

The 29-year-old star, who broke off with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo last year, also wants her next husband to fit into her “emotional type”, reports contactnmusic.com.

“My next husband will be an artistic man. It will show you the colours of my character, the person that I fall in love with next,” she said.

“I don’t even have a type! I don’t have a physical type. I have an emotional type,” she added.

Simpson recently struck an exclusive licensing agreement with world-renowned celebrity jeweler Pascal Mouawad (who has previously collaborated with the likes of Nicole Richie and Jermaine Dupri) to design, develop, produce and distribute a line of fashion watches for her ever-expanding lifestyle brand, the Jessica Simpson Collection.

“Creating and inspiring the collection is very near to my heart – my mom and I work on this collectively and it is a passion for both of us. It is a joy to be able to create a line that is affordable and fashionable,” Simpson told us. “And collecting watches, both vintage and new, has been a hobby of mine for some time so adding watches to the collection was a natural extension.”

The license marks the 21st product category for Simpson’s brand.

“Jessica is a business woman with great vision and the Camuto Group (the master licensee for the Jessica Simpson Collection) has done a phenomenal job in building the brand across multiple categories,” Mouawad said. “With Jessica’s good taste, flair for fashionable trends and iconic image, it was a natural fit for us to collaborate on a collection of fashion watches.”

The debut collection will include 35 designs, retailing from $60-$250, that speak to Jessica’s personal style, varying from classic leather and menswear styles to fashion forward jewelry-inspired looks. The collection is slated to launch Fall 2010 at upper tier department stores, specialty stores and select online stores, including JessicaSimpson.com.

And it turns out that the “Blonde Ambition” star really does draw her inspiration from another blonde beauty.

“I love Brigitte Bardot; her style was classic, chic and so effortless. I try to bring that to what I wear and to my collection,” Simpson said. “Easy looks you can wear over and over, and accessories that pop!”

But it turns out designing isn’t Simpson’s only superior skill.

“You might be surprised to know that I bake a fabulous red velvet cake,” she said when we asked about her hidden talents.

John Mayer has dated some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood – but the singer-songwriter says he was sexually addicted to Jessica Simpson.

Before becoming paired with the pop star, Mayer never have considered dating Simpson, he admits. But he now says he became hopelessly hooked.

“There are people in the world who have the power to change our values,” Mayer says in his candid confessional. “Have you ever been with a girl who made you want to quit the rest of your life? Did you ever say, ‘I want to quit my life and just … snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to [sleep with] you, I would start selling all my [stuff].’ ”

Mayer is more discreet about former paramour Jennifer Aniston. “I love Jen so much that I’m now thinking about how bad I would feel if she read this and was like, ‘Why are you putting me in an article where you’re talking about someone else? I don’t want to be in your lineage of kiss-and-tells’,” he says.
